It’s that time of year again to get back to learning about the Bible. Our Parish Education is ready to go with lots of options for all ages, from pre-K to 6th grade. Sunday School Promotion Day is scheduled for September 9. Come to sign up and meet your teacher. Then Sunday School officially kicks off on September 16. Sunday school is held every Sunday between services at 9:45 a.m. For more information regarding the children’s Sunday School, ask Ellen Warntz, Cora Sue Herbst or Doris Golden.
We have parish education for all ages, even adults, during the 9:45 a.m. education hour. In the Sanctuary, there is a lecture-style class. The Good News Bible class is a discussion-based class, and the Shared Journey class is for couples. We welcome everyone to visit our education groups and try them out. Jim Bucher is the contact person for more information.
Have you ever wanted to help with the kids in Sunday school? We are looking for volunteers to help the younger members of our church learn about Jesus. No experience is necessary, and lesson plans are already prepared. Just a love of children is needed. This is a great opportunity for teens to help out and have fun at the same time. If you would like to help out, contact the Sunday School leaders listed above for more information.
