125 Teddy Bears Collected for Ronald McDonald House

teddy bearsGrace continued their tradition of collecting teddy bears for the Christmas season. Church members started bringing in the teddy bears at the beginning of November, and 125 were sent out in time for Christmas to Hershey’s Ronald McDonald House. The teddy bears are promised to the siblings of the ill children at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.

A church member heard of the need for toys for the siblings staying at the Ronald McDonald House. Siblings are often forgotten among donations to the Children’s Hospital.

Thank you to all the members who brought in teddy bears and brightened a child’s day this Christmas!

The Ronald McDonald House’s mission includes providing “a loving home-away-from-home for families with children traveling to Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital for treatment.” Families stay at the Ronald McDonald House free of charge (rmhc-centralpa.org).
