Thanks to all who helped us reach our goal of 1000 rolls of toilet paper. We wish that those who donated could be there on the 10th of June to see the delight on the faces of our clients. The things we take for granted are often the things that others consider a luxury. As we move through our days, we need to consider others less fortunate than ourselves and remember Christ’s challenge to us…”take care of my people.” We will be setting up the sanctuary for our “yard sale ministry” on Sunday, June 9, at 12:30 p.m. If you can come to help put things out on the tables, line up the many pairs of shoes, stack up the multitude of children’s books, arrange the stuffed animals on the front pew, unpack bags and bags of donated clothing, or just carry things from the storeroom to the sanctuary, please consider joining us for this afternoon of work (yes) and wonderful fellowship. If you want to see the whole distribution in action, you are invited to come on Monday June 10 at 9:00 a.m. to witness the onslaught! You will not believe what you see. It is awesome and fantastic to observe. It will make your day and will also help you see how much our church and our food ministry means to our clients. Hope to see you there!
