Caroling Event by Our Youth

childrens' choir

Have you ever considered playing the bells in church? They are easy to play, (with a flick of the wrist), and you do not have to know how to read music. Cindy Strobeck is leading us until an Organist can be hired. She has led the bells for many years and is a great teacher. Our youngest member is 8 and our oldest member is…well we can’t say. There are all levels of expertise and we welcome beginners.
Grace Rings! practices are every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. This year we are trying something a bit different. We are planning our practices in units. What that means is we will keep the above practice time for approximately two months and then meet and make changes as everyone’s schedules change. This gives everyone the greatest flexibility. Come see what all the ringing is about!
Kids Choir Begins!
childrens’ choirThere has already been a pre-choir meeting, but if your children still want to join, our first practice is on October 6. The Kids Choir practices every Sunday from 10:20 a.m. – 10:40 a.m. The choir directors, Kurt Golden and Mindy Steineke, pick up the kids from their respective classes and take them to the Food Pantry area in the basement to ‘belt it out’ Kid’s Choir style! Parents can pick up their kids at the top of the ramp to the pantry area in the basement when Sunday School is over. We welcome kids of all ages, and we preform every few months at both services. It is a lot of fun. Come join us!
